Colt Trooper

This is one of a series of pictures I'm going to upload of some of my firearms collection. I'm only uploading those that have a historical background.

~About THIS firearm~
-This was inherited from my grandfather when he passed away. (grandfather on my fathers side)

-This was my grandfathers sidearm when he was in the highway patrol. Talk about a sidearm! not a whole lot would be better than a .357 magnum (lol a person stopper!)

-This is a Colt Trooper .357 Magnum

-Uh, yea it fires the .357 Magnum round and can also fire .38 Special

-In this picture, from left to right, The holder for the speedloaders, one of the speedloaders with 6 rounds of .357, the Colt, and the two bullets on the right are a .38 special (left), and a .357 magnum (right).

-This has an aftermarket grip guess my grandpa put on. It's a Pachmayer "Gripper".


~About the firearm~
-The Colt Tooper was introduced in 1953

-There are a few different versions, such as the MkIII, the Lawman, and Whitetailer.

-I'm not exactly sure what version this is, I believe it's a MkV
